New York | Romantic Japanese Izakaya 🍸

A hidden gem in the Upper East Side, NR has an amazing atmosphere. The cocktails are intriguingly flavored (though I personally think they're more about looks than taste). πŸŒΈπŸƒ The bar snacks are all delicious and very refined. Compared to the ramen, I actually prefer their appetizers and bar snacks. The overall vibe and experience are fantastic, definitely worth a try, and perfect for a date or a small gathering with friends. Yuzu + Shanso $17 Gin-based with a strong Japanese sansho pepper flavor (a bit odd, like eating Sichuan cuisine). Mixed with yuzu sake, yuzu, honey, and orange blossom. πŸŒΈπŸƒ Bee + Chamomile $17 πŸ‘ Gin-based with a strong honey flavor and chamomile, very refreshing and not overly sweet. Chanel No.5? Martini $17 πŸ‘ πŸŒΈπŸƒAlmond flavor on the first sip, with a mix of various plant-like flavors, quite refreshing. Herb + Green Apple Granita $17 Sparkling wine-based, very refreshing, with a magical mix of green herb flavors. Frozen green apple, basil, lemon, rosemary, and thyme. Premium Green Tea High Ball $16 πŸŒΈπŸƒ Green tea gin, yuzu-flavored with tonic water and soda water, slightly bitter but still pretty good. #NewYork πŸŒƒ
