New York | Saint Julivert ๐
Tonight, while browsing Resy, I discovered that Saint Julivert has topped the list of 40 Restaurants Across America Worth a Journey! ๐ This restaurant is hands down the most impressive one I've dined at in New York. Specializing in seafood, it boasts incredibly fresh ingredients, innovative dishes, and a perfect balance of flavors. ๐ค Located in Cobble Hill, it's the sister restaurant of La Vara next door. In my opinion, it's even better than La Vara! The reservation is easy to secure, making it perfect for a date. It's truly a hidden gem. ๐ฟ ๐ฆ Wild Shrimp - My absolute favorite! It's so good it makes your eyes pop open. A true paradise for your taste buds. The marinated shrimp with grapefruit and Mexican chili offers a perfect balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy flavors. ๐ฆ ๐ Whipped Mackerel - Spicy mackerel paste served with perfectly toasted sourdough. It's incredibly delicious! ๐ ๐ Squid a la Plancha - Squid with pine nuts and king oyster mushrooms, crispy and charred, served with three saucesโblack, white, and green. ๐ฆ ๐ฎ Shiso Tacos - Even those who don't like shiso leaves will enjoy this dish. The unexpected pairing of shiso and scallops is elevated by the crispy red onions. ๐ฟ Venetian Style Risotto - My friend's favorite. The smoked eel doesn't overpower the dish, resulting in a rich yet non-greasy flavor. ๐ #RestaurantRecommendation #HiddenGem ๐๐
