🍝 Busiate Truffle Pasta | $42 The mushroom aroma is quite pronounced, while the truffle flavor is a bit subtle. The pasta is a chewy, rope-like shape, and the sauce clings well to the noodles. It’s a safe bet in terms of flavor. But the portion size... it really feels like something you’d order at a wine bar!😭 🍚 Risotto | $38 The rice has a slightly “al dente” core, which I personally quite like and even prefer over the pasta. But this portion... it’s really more like a snack size you’d find in a poke bowl. For two guys, this dish would only leave them hungrier. You might need to order four servings to feel full!💀 🥩 Vitello Veal Steak | $78 The most expensive dish, yet it was incredibly ordinary. By this point, we completely gave up on ordering dessert. 🌟 The ONLY highlight of the night: the pre-meal bread. You have to get the mushroom focaccia! It’s truly delicious! Overall, with drinks, the average cost per person reached over $150. The birthday atmosphere was nice, but the flavors didn’t match the price. I saw many posts on social media raving about the food here—did I order the wrong dishes? And while I saw other birthday tables getting little cakes, we didn’t get one. Oh well, I guess.😊 #NewYork 🌇🌟
