New York | Take31 π
Take31 is a super-famous modern Korean restaurant in NYC, known for its dinner-only service. You definitely need to make a reservation in advance, or youβll be waiting in line for a long time! π The Beef Jajangmyeon is legendary β said to be the best on the island! π The refreshing noodles are coated in a sweet Korean sauce, with a perfect balance of sweet and spicy flavors. The soul of the dish is the soft-boiled egg, whose runny yolk adds a rich, silky touch β itβs the same dish featured in the movie "Parasite"! π¬ π The Korean Fried Chicken is another standout. The sweet and spicy sauce leans more towards the sweet side, with just a hint of heat. The exterior is super crispy, and itβs topped with golden-fried garlic bits β a perfect blend of flavors and textures. π The Roe Tamago-yaki surprised me! I thought it would be a regular tamago-yaki, but itβs filled with loads of fish roe β a delightful twist on the classic. π£ π½ Including the tip, the total came to just over $80 β definitely worth it for such a unique and delicious meal. π #NYC #KoreanFood #Take31 π
