New York | The Controversial Japanese-French Cuisine (2)๐ฃ
๐The dishes were impressive from the very beginning. The pre-dinner snacks were delightful: Trio of Yellowtail: Avocado mousse paired with yuzu juiceโa very refreshing start. ๐ Foie Gras โChawanmushiโ: This dish is quite famous, but I found the combination a bit overrated. My friend chose the risotto and really enjoyed it. ๐ ๐ Steamed Halibut: The fish was incredibly tender, with a well-balanced sauce and a touch of caviar for added luxury. ๐ Duck Breast: The duck itself was decent, but the pairing with apple and cranberry really elevated the dish. ๐ฆ ๐Desserts: Apple Tart: The combination of warm apple and ice cream is hard to mess up, and this one was perfect. ๐ Chocolate Souffle: Soft and tender with a gooey center that wasn't too sweet. ๐ซ ๐ The restaurant also gifted us a pineapple dessert, which was very refreshing and a great way to end the meal. ๐ ๐ 1 E 15th St, New York, NY 10003 #NewYork ๐ #NYCDining ๐ฝ๏ธ
