New York | The Famous Duck Restaurant Francie π
Finally got to try the famous duck restaurant in New York. I booked three days in advance and only managed to get a reservation for 9:30 PM. Overall, the service was really good. The only downside is that the restaurant is quite small, and it gets pretty noisy in the evening. Itβs perfect for having a drink with friends at night. π» Souffle Cakes πππ Pretty tasty, but with only three pieces, itβs just enough to whet your appetite. Carpaccio πππππ I really enjoyed this one! The flavor is quite unique and magical. Highly recommended. π Conchiglie ππππ The pasta looks small because the restaurant splits it into two portions for sharing. The service was great, and the taste was good too. π The duck arrived! π¦ππππ When it first comes out, they let you take a photo, then they take it back to carve it and bring it out again. The taste is similar to roast duck, a bit sweet, and overall quite nice. Personally, I found it a bit too rich after two pieces, so I gave it four stars. π I canβt remember the name of the dessert, but it was a dark chocolate mousse. It was average, but the accompanying ice cream was really good! π¨ We brought a bottle of red wine to Francie and had to pay a corkage fee. The corkage fee was $90, and you donβt need to tell the restaurant in advance. Just bring the wine when you arrive. π· #WeekendExploration #NewYork #NYCExploration #NYCEatDrinkPlay ππ
