Every month on the 1st, reservations for the next month are released at The Office of Mr. Moto, and it’s a race to secure a spot two months in advance! 🚀 🌊 The restaurant thrives on mystery. The entrance is super inconspicuous, and you need to enter a password into a mailbox to get in—the key is in your reservation email. 🕵️‍♂️ There are 21 courses in total, including 15 pieces of nigiri and 1 tuna hand roll. 🎢 The appetizers before the sushi were all delicious, but then the quality took a dive. 🦪 The steamed abalone was super fresh, with firm and chewy meat. 🦑 Among the three small dishes, the firefly squid and miso mackerel were amazing! 🍥 The uni in the chawanmushi was just okay. Inside, there were really no standout moments. The only dishes I remember are: Grilled scallops with nori 🍘 Hokkaido uni, which was spot on. And the sardines, which had a lot of bones—was that normal? 😃 🌸 The restaurant only has 12 seats: 6 at the counter and 6 tables. The Gallery is for tables, not the counter, so don’t make the same mistake I did and end up with your first table omakase experience. 🍃 The value is really top-notch, but overall, the quality doesn’t quite live up to the hype.
