New York | The View Restaurant Interior Design Case Study ๐
๐ Location: New York Times Square Marriott Marquis Hotel ๐ข Designer: Rockwell Group ๐ Project Year: 2023 ๐ฟ๐The View Restaurant is located on the 47th and 48th floors of the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York's Times Square. It is the city's only revolving restaurant, offering 360-degree panoramic city views. ๐๏ธCommissioned by Union Square Hospitality Group, Rockwell Group completely renovated the interior with the goal of creating a space that is both theatrical and modern, providing guests with a dining experience that combines dynamism and serenity. ๐ฟ๐ ใDesign Highlightsใ Golden Stage" Concept: ๐๏ธThe core of the restaurant's design is a golden stage feel, creating a space that is both a stage and an observation platform. This concept works in harmony with the restaurant's rotating function, guiding guests' attention without competing with the stunning views outside. The lighting design cleverly incorporates soft yellow tones to create a warm, luxurious atmosphere. ๐ฟ๐ Theatre-Style" Dining Environment: The upper level features low sofas and small dining tables where guests can enjoy their meals while the restaurant slowly rotates past multiple "stations" in the center. ๐๏ธThese include a bar area, a raw seafood bar, and a small music performance stage, each seamlessly connected to the restaurant's rotation path, breaking away from traditional fixed restaurant structures. #NewYork ๐๐
