πMidtown East | Semi - Underground Japanese Bar Restaurant Recommendation π This place has a line that can rival DCP's! It's a bar + restaurant that doesn't take reservations. π I arrived at 4:25 p.m. on a Wednesday and still managed to be only the second person in line. By 5 p.m., just before the doors opened, there was already a long line outside. (My friend estimated that there were at least 20 tables' worth of people. ) πAt 6 p.m., the band starts playing some jazz tunes. The overall experience - in terms of flavor, ambiance, atmosphere, and service - was really great. It's perfect for 2 - 3 people to unwind and chat over a few drinks after work. πΆ π Next time I have the chance, I definitely want to try the Clever, Mandarin Slush, cod roe pasta, and okonomiyaki. π #NewYorkExploration #NewYorkFood π
