Torien might have the best service in all of New York’s Michelin restaurants. The yaki tori omakase was an absolute delight for the soul! 🌟 🌿🌟 After the meal, both the head chef and sous chef waited with us outside for the Uber. They stood there waving until our car drove away, even in the chilly late November weather, wearing just their chef coats. It was such a royal experience – even Michelin three-star places don’t offer this level of service! 👑 🌿🌟 When we were leaving and getting our coats, the chef personally retrieved our clothes from the coat check and helped us put them on. The chef was also incredibly funny, and all the staff were just wonderful people. 😊 The yaki tori was super, super juicy. My absolute favorites were the chicken hearts and wings. The add-ons included chicken tail – you have to order it! It’s so delicious. 😋 At $18 per skewer, it’s definitely worth it. 🌿🌟 For our anniversary, they gifted us a glass of yuzu sake.
