New York | Trying Out a Korean Taxi Driver’s Diner 🚕
When I saw my Korean friends raving about Kisa in Chinatown, I had to give it a try! 🗽 This place is inspired by the small diners that Korean taxi drivers often visit. 🍜 The menu is super simple. You choose one of the four main dishes from the big plate in the middle: 1️⃣ Bulgogi (Korean BBQ Beef) 2️⃣ Spicy Pork (Korean Spicy Pork) 3️⃣ Spicy Squid (Korean Spicy Squid) 4️⃣ Bori Bibimbap (Korean Mixed Rice Bowl) The sides are fixed around the main dish, and the flavors are pretty standard. The place is a bit chaotic since it just opened, and the lines during meal times are super long. 🕰️ But here’s the fun part: you can use coins to buy a hot drink from the vending machine – it feels straight out of a Korean drama! 😅 📍 Kisa | 205 Allen St, New York, NY 10002 #NYCEats #HiddenGemRestaurant #KoreanVibes
