New York | West Village's Notable Japanese-Peruvian Fusion Cuisine

🍴 **Llama San** Average Cost: $140 The West Village has been on my list for a while for its Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine! The presentation is really exquisite, and the food is generally good. However, considering the price, the value for money isn't that high. Some dishes are a bit saltier (for those who prefer strong flavors). ① **Scallops, Parmesan, Lime ** ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ The scallops are very tender. The top layer of toasted sesame seeds, nori, and Parmesan cheese gives a salty-sweet and milky aroma. The slight sourness from the lime juice adds richness to the taste. ② **Tuna Ponzu** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The fish is very fresh! There are sweet and sour citrus chunks in the sauce, making it very delicious and refreshing. ③ **Octopus Anticucho** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Only two skewers, though) Grilled octopus and glutinous rice skewers are amazing! The glutinous rice has a great texture, and it pairs wonderfully with the grilled octopus for a fragrant and delicious combination. ④ **Maitake Mushrooms** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fried maitake mushrooms with lime juice and dipping sauce are delicious. ⑤ **Iberico Pork Katsu** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Grilled pork chops with green sauce udon noodles. The outer layer is crispy, and the inside pork is very tender. It feels like a safe and satisfying choice. ⑥ **Rock Shrimp, Uni Risotto** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This dish feels like a seafood cheese risotto, with a rich and milky aroma. The balance of saltiness and sweetness is just right, making it very tasty. ⑦ **Braised Beef** ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ The chopped cicely on the braised beef is actually delicious in terms of seasoning, but it is a bit salty. If you dip it in the mashed potato-like side dish to neutralize the saltiness, it's still quite good. It pairs well with rice. 🍸 **Cocktails** ① **Passion Fruit Sour** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ② **Lucid Dream** ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ③ **Mint Condition** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Minty and fruity sweetness) ④ **Vuela Vuela** ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service Attitude ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #NewYorkLife #NewYorkFoodGuide #WeekendEats #HiddenRestaurantGems #NewYork #NewYorkFood #RestaurantRecommendation #WestVillage #Manhattan #CreativeCuisine
