King’s Street Coffee One morning, feeling way too sleepy, I wandered into a café for some much-needed coffee. I stumbled upon this place with a 4.7 rating, located in Midtown Manhattan. 🍃🌸 As soon as I walked in, I spotted these greenish scones on the counter. They were labeled as "in-house matcha scones" and were sitting in a baking tray. There were only two left, so out of curiosity, I decided to give one a try. And oh boy, was I in for a treat! 🌟 The matcha scone had a slight savory taste that perfectly complemented the refreshing aroma of matcha, with little bits of semi-melted white chocolate inside. 🍃🌸 This sweet-savory combination is seriously addictive! The café only makes a limited quantity each day—just one tray of six scones. So, I’d recommend getting there early.
