Hidden in Chinatown, this little gem only opens three days a week. ✨ 🌿Their weekly menu is updated on Instagram, so make sure to check it out! 📸 I ordered a set and a pandan cookie, which truly made up for my disappointment with Lady Wong. [Lady Wong had a brown one that was really terrible.] 🌿The set included soft yet chewy little cakes. The pandan flavor was just as you’d imagine—delicious! The sweet potato and rose ones were amazing! I usually don’t like rose flavors and have always disliked floral cakes, but this rose flavor was very subtle, with more of a lychee sweetness. Loved it! 🌸 The cookie was huge and so cute, with a filling inside—probably something like coconut sugar. It wasn’t overly sweet, which was perfect. 🍪 🌿The Basque cake was durian-flavored, so I didn’t try it. The owner was so kind! It was a rainy day, and my paper bag got damp, so she even helped me put it in a plastic bag to keep it dry. 💗 📍 Kuih Cafe #NewYork 🌃🌟
