π½New York - Piccola Cucina Osteria Siciliana
π196 Spring St, New York, NY 10012 #NYCDining #FoodieLife #ItalianCuisine ππ This place has several branches in New York, but the names aren't exactly the same, and the staff mentioned that the menus vary slightly too. ππΈ We initially wanted to try the lobster pasta, but they said it wasn't available. So, if you have your heart set on a particular dish, make sure to do your homework in advance. We ordered two servings of the recommended black truffle green pasta (...Black Truffle), which is the first option under PASTE on the menu. ππΈ The flavor was somewhat similar to egg and tomato sauce noodles. One portion was a bit salty, and the other was even saltier. Overall, we didn't really recommend it. The appetizer and the other pasta were both recommended by the waiter, and they're not on the regular menuβthey're hidden gems. ππΈ The recommendations were all delicious π. If you visit this place, definitely ask for their suggestions. The waiter in the photo, who made the tiramisu for us right there, is the one to talk to. π The Tiramisu is highly recommended. The taste and texture are quite different from the usual pre-sliced cakes. ππΈ Since the cream is freshly whipped on the spot, it has a much lighter and fluffier texture. #NewYork π
