New York ๐ Korean Food Has Gotten So Innovative Now! (2)
๐ Mushroom Bibimbap ๐Not really my favorite. Their rice is quite sticky, not the kind with a crispy bottom that you'd expect in Korean bibimbap. The ingredients are also pretty limitedโjust a bunch of different mushrooms. There's a giant mushroom that's super salty. I thought it was just that one, but when I tried another, it was still unbearably salty. ๐ Oxtail Cream Pasta This pasta is pretty standard. I feel like I could make it myself. The oxtail is actually just some minced meat. It's not bad, but it's definitely not the kind of chewy pasta you'd imagine from a restaurant. ๐ Popcorn Chicken ๐ธThis is definitely not the Taiwanese salt-and-pepper chicken or chicken nuggets you'd imagine. It's more like a Korean fusion of sweet and spicy fried chicken, kind of like mini BBQ chicken. It's not bad, but it's a bit strong in flavor. There's too much sauce, but it looks great in photos and has a cute appearance. ๐ Although none of the dishes are bad, they're not so good that I'd make a special trip back. Everything is pretty cute, though. It's a Korean restaurant worth trying out! ๐ C as in Charlie Average cost per person: $40 ๐ข #food #NYCExplore #NewYork ๐๐
