New York 2025 Restaurant Week | Michelin Star🌟Le Pavillon (1)

The New York winter Restaurant Week is back, bringing a touch of warmth to the freezing cold! 🌨️ 🎢 It feels like the overall quality of Restaurant Week has taken a bit of a dip these days. Used to be the perfect chance to try out those dream restaurants, but now it seems more like just going through the motions. 🤷‍♀️ Michelin-starred Le Pavillion is nestled in Summit One Vanderbilt, with Chef Daniel Boulud’s eponymous Café Boulud right downstairs. The ambiance here is truly top-notch, with a breathtaking forest/garden theme that feels like a hidden paradise. Super romantic and the ideal spot for a date or a special occasion. 💕 🌸 For a Friday lunch reservation, there were two options: a 3-course meal for $70 and a 2-course meal for $60. 🦆 DUCK CONSOMMÉ 🍃A clear soup made with duck, foie gras, and vegetables. It was quite flavorful, but the portion was super tiny—literally just two small sips. I mean, French cuisine is best when it’s rich and hearty. If they’re aiming for a light, nourishing broth, why not just go for Cantonese cuisine? 🍲 🦀 JONAH CRAB BUCATINI This dish was a winner! Chunky pieces of crab meat and artichokes, with al dente pasta coated in a rich, flavorful sauce that had a hint of black pepper. As an appetizer, the portion was pretty generous, balancing out the rather average duck soup. #NewYork 🌆
