New York ACQ BREAD 🍞

Today, I want to share a hidden gem of a bakery deep in Brooklyn: ACQ BREAD CO. 🌟 📍 543 Clinton St #1, Brooklyn, NY 11231 🌟First, the verdict: The milk bread is incredibly sweet and fragrant, while the sourdough bread is soft and chewy. If it’s not too much trouble to get there, it’s definitely worth a visit!! 🍖 Let’s be real, though. Their business hours are quite quirky—weeknights from 4-7 pm, and they often don’t open on weekends. Plus, some of their specials sell out super quickly. As a working person, I kind of envy this schedule. 🥹 🌟Back to the bread! It’s truly amazing. If it weren’t so far, I’d consider it a worthy substitute for La Cabra! The sourdough has a meaty texture and a strong, rich sour flavor that pairs perfectly with fermented butter. It’s absolutely divine! 🍖 The milk bread is another story—it’s sweet and milky, with an excellent texture. I can’t even imagine how delicious it would be as French toast. 🍔 The pecan cookie was a bit too sweet for my taste, but it was very crispy and satisfying. 🍪 🌟 Overall, the only downside is the distance. If it weren’t for the hour-long trip from my home, I’d be a regular! This has been some of the best bread I’ve had recently. But don’t worry, island dwellers—La Cabra is still amazing! #NewYork 🗽
