New York African Cuisine | Radio Kwara (2)π
Guineafowl π π’At first, I had no idea what guineafowl was, but after looking it up, I found out it's a type of bird, similar to a chicken. It reminded me of a Costco roasted chicken that wasn't very flavorful. πThe meat is quite firm, and the bird itself has a subtle, almost gamey aroma. When paired with the sauce, it's not bad, but I think it might be better suited for making soup. π Overall, this was my first time trying African cuisine, so I can't offer a very in-depth review. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant is really special. π The bar tables are right around the kitchen, so you can watch the chef cook up close. The lighting is super cozy, and the decor feels like a home away from home. Plus, the music is really tasteful, making the whole experience very comfortable. The last two photos are of the kitchen and the entrance. Dining here with friends or a partner is definitely a unique experience! π πΈ #NewYork #NYCFood #NYCExploration π
