New York and New Jersey Bear Mountain Autumn Scenery Report (1)🍂

Bear Mountain in New York State is just over an hour's drive from New Jersey. 🎢🍃The journey there is absolutely stunning, like driving through a painting. Since we had little ones with us, we didn't go on any trails. All the views here are accessible right from the car, and best of all, they're free! 🍂 Bear Mountain Bridge Scenic Lookout: This is a classic spot for an overview of the Hudson River and the Bear Mountain Bridge. Drive all the way up the mountain to the end, where there's no official parking. 🎢🍃 You'll have to pull over and be careful when getting in and out of the car. Although some trees along the road may block the view a bit, the overall vista is still wide - open, and you can find gaps to frame your shots. It's definitely worth a stop. 🍂 Bear Mountain Lookout: This viewpoint is more popular and features the Perkins Memorial Tower. The tower itself is nothing extraordinary, but it does have some information on the bridge's history. From here, you can see the rolling mountains. 🎢🍃 There's less of the river view compared to the other spot, but you get more of the close - up red leaves 🍁. #NewYork 🌆
