New York August Gatherings 🌟
Organic Mushroom Stone Pot Rice This dish far exceeded my expectations! When mixing it, I was almost overwhelmed by the aroma of the various mushrooms. It’s savory, rich, and you can enjoy the crispy rice crust at the bottom. A must-order! 🍛 Goose Fat Roasted Angus Beef Short Ribs The beef is incredibly tender and well-marbled, not tough at all. When you spoon some of the sauce over rice, it’s the perfect pairing. 🍖 Egg Tarts The least sweet egg tart I’ve ever had! It’s still warm when served, seemingly freshly baked. The crust is super crispy, and the custard inside is extremely smooth. The size is a bit larger than average. 🥧 Brown Sugar Duck Leg A classic Cantonese sweet roast duck leg, full of oily aroma. Eating it with the skin is pure bliss. If there’s a downside, it’s that the duck skin is a bit too oily. 🍗 Shrimp Dumplings A standard dim sum item—delicious but not particularly impressive. 🍤 Steamed Chinese Kale I ordered this as a random vegetarian option, but it’s pretty ordinary. I probably won’t get it next time. 🥬 📌 Summary: The restaurant is clean and the portion sizes are normal. The dishes listed were perfect for three people. One delightful surprise was the complimentary almond biscuits after the meal—they were super yummy (I almost wanted to steal the recipe)! Overall, this place is considered the pinnacle of Cantonese cuisine in New York by many of my friends. 🔝 #ChineseFood #Cantonese Cuisine 🌿🌟
