New York Bar Adventure 🍸
After we walked in and sat down, everything from the ambiance to the service, from the taste of the drinks to the value for money, was just mediocre—on par with a small bar in Wudaokou. My friend and I decided to give it a chance by ordering two rounds, but it was really unnecessary. 🥤 🎢 The cocktail menu seemed to aim for creativity, but the flavors were really disappointing. It felt like the ingredients were fighting each other. If the quality wasn't great, at least the quantity could have been more generous. 🍃 But look at that ice in the picture? The ice was piled so high it was overflowing from the glass. It seemed like they didn’t even want to leave room for the actual drink. ❄️ 🏙️To be honest, if I were really drinking, I could finish it in one sip. The drinks here are more for sipping, kind of like how Miaoyu savors her tea. 🌸Forget about getting tipsy; I don’t think even quenching your thirst would cost less than $200. Oh, and each drink, including tip, was about $20. Not too expensive for Manhattan, but still... 🤔 From a practical standpoint, unless you’re there for a date or to take some cool photos, spending money just for the drinks is really not worth it. You could spend the same amount on something delicious to eat. 🌊 But for some wealthy friends who love to drink, I’ve ended up spending a lot of unnecessary money. If my misadventures can help others avoid the same pitfalls, then maybe it’s not a total loss. Stay tuned for the next episode! 🌟 🍃 #NewYorkBar #CocktailBar 🌆✨
