New York Bar Exploration: The Dead Rabbit 🍸
🌊Finally found the time to write about the bar I visited last month… This place was recommended by a friend who said that before he left New York, this was one of his favorite bars and it’s on the list of the world’s 50 best bars. 🌟This piqued my interest because I’ve been to several of the “world’s 50 best bars” in different countries, and most of them were pretty good (except for the ones in the US). However, this one was a big disappointment! A huge letdown, friends! First off, it’s an Irish bar with two menu series: Big Rock and Little Rock (one of them is only available on the second floor, and I forgot which one… yeah, we were seated upstairs). 🌅 The service was excellent; they greeted us with a complimentary welcome drink, which made it hard to complain. When we mentioned that the drinks were too sweet, the bartender didn’t hesitate to take them back and adjust them (added some sourness). 🌸But the drinks were extremely sweet! The sweetness completely overpowered all other flavors… 🌟We thought it might just be a matter of taste, but out of the nine drinks we ordered, none of them struck us as well-balanced or not too sweet… I messaged my friend right away, and he said he thought it was good back in 2016/17, before the pandemic… 🌅 Upon further research, I found out that it’s no longer on the list of the world’s 50 best bars. Hmm, that explains a lot… #Exploration #Bar #NewYork 🎢
