New York Bar Visit: NY Martiny’s 🍸✨
A Japanese-style bar where the snacks are as meticulous as the drinks. Book a few days in advance and come for a mid-week tipple. 🍃🌸 The ambiance is great, not too noisy, perfect for sipping drinks and chatting, with a really nice atmosphere. 🍻 This time, we pretty much ordered all the snacks. They were all so delicious; you really can't go wrong with any of them. It's a skill to get full from snacks at a bar! I had three rounds of cocktails. The first round included the relatively lighter Three Little Words and Maia, with flavors of grapefruit and grapes. 🍃🌸 They were nice—not too sweet and not too strong, perfect for an empty stomach before the meal as an aperitif. But they were pretty forgettable, just okay. The second round featured the very popular Tea Ceremony and Troublemaker Revival. I loved the Tea Ceremony, opting for the most classic bourbon base. 🌿🌟 It was strong with a bit of sweetness, paired with shiso leaves. I thought it was the best of the night! I love that intense feel; bourbon lovers will appreciate its spiciness and flavor. 🥃 Troublemaker had a fresh, strawberry flavor but, again, nothing particularly memorable. The last round was the post-dinner digestif: Tiramisu and New York New York. Both were sweet, like dessert in a glass, and quite enjoyable. 🍃🌸 Overall, it's definitely worth a visit. But remember to make a reservation; it's super popular. Without a reservation, you'll be waiting for a long time. Also, the waitstaff can be a bit pushy, urging you to order drink after drink, which was a bit of a downside. It made me feel a bit rushed. 🌿🌟 #NewYorkFood #NYCExploration 🌃🥂
