🥃 Sip & Guzzle 🍸 The New York branch of The SG Club has a drink menu that updates almost in sync with Tokyo. The previous Wax On was already amazing, and the subsequent Tomato Tree is even more stunning, making me order it once in Tokyo and once in New York. It’s the bar of my favorite bartender, Shingo. 🔹 It’s recommended to make a reservation in advance. The first floor is Guzzle, and the basement is Sip. Without a reservation for Sip, the waiting time might be up to two hours. 🔸 Rating: ★★★★★ 🌭 Schmuck 🍔 Founded by the bartender of the famous Barcelona bar Two Schmucks, this place has delicious drinks and impressive interior design. The overall alcohol content is relatively high, with a slightly sour taste, but it pairs perfectly with the food in the bar. 🔹 It’s suggested to queue up half an hour in advance or make a reservation. The waiting time is usually not too long. 🔸 Rating: ★★★★★ 🍸 Martiny’s 🍸 Opened by the owner of Angel’s Share, this is a Japanese-style small bar with higher alcohol content. The retro atmosphere and good food make it a great spot. The matcha drink Tea Ceremony is a signature, and they also offer various Martinis. 🔹 You can make a reservation or just walk in.
