Went to Bear Mountain this weekend. If it weren't for the perfect filters, it wouldn't be as Instagram-famous. 📸 🍂To get there, navigate to the parking lot at the foot of the mountain, which is Hessian Lake . This name reminds me of the Hessian matrix in math. 🧮 You can take a leisurely walk around the lake, and even rent a small boat to paddle on the water. 🚣‍♀️ 🍂 For hiking, you can take the Appalachian Trail. Although there are steps, after a while, you might think, "Wow, this trail is pretty steep!" 😅 At that point, you can decisively head back down to your car and navigate to Perkin Tower and the Bear Mountain Bridge Scenic Lookout.
