New York Bookstore: Argosy
I've decided to document and summarize all my previous travels, starting with visiting various bookstores... ππΈ Last September, during my trip to New York, I visited Argosy Book Store: The store has a wide range of books, from three-dollar used books to rare books worth tens of thousands of dollars... In addition to that, there are also various signed works by famous authors and original photographs. ππ The first time I saw Charles Dickens' handwriting and a photo of Hemingway was in this bookstore. As a fan of theirs, I was very excited. Many of the store's rare first editions and photos are not on display. ππΈ If you're interested in purchasing, you can ask the staff to look them up, or you can check on the store's website in advance and have the staff bring them out for you to see. The staff are very enthusiastic. One young man even printed out all the information about their rare Charles Dickens books and photos for me as a reference. ππ The printer spat out a thick stack of paper for me to take away and read at my leisure. ππΈIn short, it's a bookstore well worth spending time browsing and searching through. π Argosy Book Store, 116 E 59th St, New York, NY 10022, United States #Bookstore #BookstoreRecommendation #BookstoreVisit ππ
