New York brunch @ Cafe Mado π½
Cafe Mado is part of the same team as my favorite Oxalis and Place des FΓͺtes. No surprise it's one of my favorite brunch spots in New York! π The crispy hake with gribiche is a must-try! π The fish is super tender inside with a thin, crispy skin. The sauce has a slight tangy and fresh flavor that ties everything together perfectly. It's just right in every way! π The savory crepe with smoked steelhead trout and buckwheat is not only cute and pretty but also super delicious. π₯ͺ Their signature Mado's breakfast sandwiches come with two options: hash browns and sausage. Both are good and worth a try! π If you're an anchovy lover, you'll enjoy the dish in photo 5. The bread and fish are both very flavorful. But last time I visited, it wasn't on the menu. You can show the picture and ask if they can make it for you. π The le caesar is a fresh Caesar salad. The fries with herbs de Provence are thin and can be ordered based on your mood. Simple and delicious! π₯¬ However, I don't recommend the lumache, kale, and ricotta salata. It's not tasty and lacks flavor. π₯¬ The lunch menu is available from 12 PM to 3:30 PM on weekdays. On weekends, it opens earlier in the morning. You can also call ahead to confirm the hours and avoid any disappointment. π #food #brunch #brunchlovers #restaurantrecommendation
