Ever since it opened, I’ve been a big fan of CHADA, located at the border of SoHo and the West Village. When I saw on IG that they launched a new brunch menu over the weekend, I couldn’t wait to give it a try! 🍳 Brunch Menu Chicken Waffle 🧇 Highly recommended! The Thai-style fried chicken drumstick, with its crispy scales, is tender and juicy inside. The waffle is perfectly baked to a crisp, and drizzled with syrup for a delightful finish. 🌟 Egg White Crab Meat Omelette ☁️ It looks like a cloud and feels just as light when you eat it. The crab meat with ginger curry is a bit too much for my taste, but if you’re into it, definitely give it a shot! 🫚 Brisket Roti Wrap 🌮 The wrap is chewy and substantial, filled with beef brisket, pineapple, cherry tomatoes, and Thai lime juice. The combination is explosively fragrant! 🌿 Main Course Menu Crispy Pork (Krapow) 🥓 Last time I ordered the salt & pepper fried pork belly, and I found that the Krapow version involves stir-frying the pork belly again. It’s less crispy but more oily and flavorful, with a great wok hei. It’s still perfect for rice! 🍚 This place is definitely worth a visit! #NYCBrunch #NYCEats 🌊
