New York Chelsea Cozy Little Bookstore 192 Books 🌟

Today in New York was cold, but the weather was great. While wandering through the galleries in Chelsea, I stumbled upon a charming little bookstore with a unique name: 192 Books. I wonder where the name comes from. πŸŒΈπŸƒ The bookstore is tiny, just one room, but you can feel the strong literary vibe even before you step inside. The tables are filled with rare books on literature and art, not the kind of place that sells bestsellers. With the holidays approaching, the Christmas decorations make the bookstore even cozier. πŸŒΈπŸƒThe shop assistant is a very beautiful girl; unfortunately, I was too shy to ask for a photo and only managed to snap a picture of her from behind. I spotted a book called "The Ribbon at Olympia's Throat," which describes the masterpiece "Olympia" by Manet. I had just seen this painting at the Met's Manet/Degas exhibition, so it felt like meeting an old friend (which is a bit annoying because, like with people, artworks also have restrictions, so I can't show the entire original piece here). πŸŒΈπŸƒUpdate: The bookstore's address is 192 Tenth Avenue, and now I understand where the name comes from. #NewYork #IndependentBookstore πŸŒƒπŸŒŸ
