New York Date Night Restaurant Recommendation | Aquavit

The Best Value for Money Michelin 2-Star! For the first time, I’ve seen such great value for money at a Michelin 2-Star restaurant. It’s delicious, perfect for a date, with full marks for the environment, service, and presentation! My most satisfying date restaurant recently. We made a reservation for à la carte because the downside of the tasting menu is that it takes forever, and you still get the dishes you don’t want, haha. So, when I have the option, I choose à la carte for more flexibility and a more suitable time frame. Otherwise, waiting for 10 courses can really make you fall asleep, especially if you’re an older person. For the First course, there are 7 choices, and we tried three: 🧀 Crispy Gnocchi - Crispy potato dumplings with cheese, very aromatic and crunchy. 🧇 Swedish Sourdough Waffles - Super delicious, with a choice of two types of fish roe, and even the accompanying onions are fragrant. Highly recommend ordering this! 🥩 Isterband - Pork sausage, also good, but compared to the first two, I recommend the first two more. For the Second course, there are 5 choices, and we tried three: 🥩 Wagyu Strip Loin - I usually recommend going to a steakhouse or Korean BBQ, or some established or specific restaurants for steak. The steak here is just average. 🐟 Cod - The fish is quite tender and well-seasoned. 🍡 Swedish Meatballs - This has a very unique meatball flavor, and it’s a classic Swedish dish with meatballs and mashed potatoes. When it’s served, you think of an old man making a simple lunch in a beautiful setting, but this is the delicious version. I’ve seen other recommendations for desserts that look good, so I’ll try them next time. I ate too much today, so next time for sure!
