New York Date Night Series | Cozy Korean Cuisine at Sam Sunny 🌟

📍 Sam Sunny 517 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10016 🏙️ It’s been a while since I updated this series! 🥹 This time, I’m featuring a newly opened modern Korean restaurant near Flatiron and Murray Hill. Not many people have discovered it yet, making it a hidden gem for casual dating, especially if you’re in the mood for drinks or Asian cuisine. The overall vibe is pretty relaxed. 👌 🏙️ Since it just opened, you can tell the mixologists and servers are still finding their rhythm. 😅 But overall, the food is quite delicious! The menu is concise, so no decision fatigue here. Recommendations⬇️ Shrimp Scallop & Caviar Rice Bowl 🦞 The seafood is fresh and the portion is decent. The rice is a bit lightly seasoned, but the crispy rice at the bottom is a delightful treat! 🏙️ Tomahawk ‘Galbi’ Recommended by the staff at the grill, this dish features tender beef and great side dishes, along with several dipping sauces. 👌 Avoid the Kimchi Pancake—it’s below K-town standards. The dessert is also average, just a sorbet that’s optional to order. 🏙️ If you’re tired of K-town or find the restaurants there too noisy, this place is a great alternative. The prices are also quite reasonable. 👌 #NewYorkFoodie 🌆🌟
