New York Day Trip(1)
4PM West Village Bookstore Encounter with New York's Past and Present π½π π Three Lives & Company 154 W 10th St. New York, NY 10014 π Wonderful Town βπΌ David Remnick | New Yorker This bookstore, located on a West Village corner, has had its little red door welcoming book lovers since 1968. People enter, find their books, and leave satisfied. Despite having no social media presence, it remains one of the most special bookstores in the hearts of booksellers in New York and around the world. π ππ’ Ever since I stumbled upon this bookstore while wandering through the still unfamiliar West Village, I've made it a point to visit whenever I'm in the area, hoping to find a book that catches my eye. Last April, when I returned to New York, I pushed open the familiar little red door and discovered a collection of New Yorker short stories titled Wonderful Town on the shelves. ππ’ Having always enjoyed the non-fiction pieces in The New Yorker, I didn't hesitate to pick it up. The store clerk even gave me a discount because of a minor flaw on the cover. #NewYork π½β€οΈ
