🍣I feel the restaurant's handling of the entire situation was very unprofessional. 🤔 First of all, I wasn't even looking for any compensation. But when the manager first learned about this unexpected issue, he should have come out and apologized to mitigate the damage, instead of pretending like it never happened. It shouldn't have come to the point where the customer has to personally seek out the manager after paying the bill, only to be met with an excuse about being too busy. 😒 🍣Let's talk basics. After all, this is a Japanese restaurant, and it's positioned in the mid-to-high price range (an average of $60-$100+ per person after tax). Customers naturally have certain expectations. As we all know, one of the main reasons Japanese cuisine leaves such a strong impression on diners and is so widely welcomed around the world is because of the service. Service attitude is a significant part of the overall experience. The way this restaurant treated its guests was really subpar. 🍣 🍣 I personally really love Japanese set meals and kaiseki cuisine, but this experience was really not okay. There's definitely room for improvement in the food, employee training, and service attitude. 😔 #NewYork 🗽️ #JapaneseCuisine 🍣
