🌿La Dong (It’s a bit of a walk from SOHO, but the journey is totally worth it, especially if you need to digest all the sweets you’ve just indulged in!) 🍭 🌟This hidden gem was introduced to me by a local New Yorker friend, and it’s definitely worth a visit! 🌿 🌿The beef pho was a standout, with a broth that was incredibly fresh and sweet. Each sip was like a burst of flavor, making it the perfect comfort food. However, the beef was a bit on the dry side, which was a minor letdown. 🍜 But the real star of the show was the rice cake I ordered. It was absolutely amazing—chewy, smooth, and practically melting in your mouth. 🌟 The texture was perfect, with a delightful Q-bounce that made every bite a joy. It came with plump shrimp and fresh scallions, adding layers of flavor. 🌿And the accompanying vinegar sauce?
