🐟 Spicy Grilled Sea Bass: When it arrived, it was bubbling and sizzling. The fish skin was crispy and aromatic, and you could hear a "crunch" when you pierced it with chopsticks. The fish meat was tender yet firm, coated in a fragrant red oil – it smelled and tasted amazing! I particularly enjoyed the soft tofu cubes in the side dish. 🐟 🍦 Black Tea Ice Cream: It had a delicate, ethereal quality. The round base had the texture of soft cookies, and the ice cream had a well-balanced tea and milk flavor. 🍦 🍮 Frosty Qi (Mousse): A delightful combination of strawberry sauce with white chocolate, vanilla mousse, and crunchy cereal – it had a great texture and flavor. I had intended to order the beautifully presented braised short rib, but unfortunately, it was sold out during dinner service. What a pity! I had heard about this restaurant since it first opened two years ago, but this was my first visit. After dining here, I'm sure I'll be back for a second time. 🎢🍃 Located in Midtown, a popular tourist area, I thought the restaurant might compromise on authenticity to cater to different tastes (they have an entire page dedicated to Americanized Chinese dishes). 🎢🍃But to my pleasant surprise, it turned out to be a place I could wholeheartedly recommend to friends as "much more authentic than I imagined." 📍 Chi Restaurant & Bar #NewYorkTravel #NYCExploration 🌆🌟
