New York Dining Adventure: Nougatine by Jean-Georges ๐ŸŒŸ

๐Ÿฅฉ Main Courses ๐Ÿ– Roasted Salmon The salmon is perfectly crispy on the outside, with tender meat inside. The corn chowder and sweet corn are delicious and not at all greasy. However, I got a bit of a surprise when I took my first biteโ€”it was quite hot! Itโ€™s the first time Iโ€™ve been burned by Western cuisine. ๐Ÿ– ๐ŸŒŸOrganic Roast Chicken This dish is absolutely delicious! The chicken skin is crispy and fragrant. The accompanying green sauce has a hint of cumin, giving the dish a unique, almost Chinese-inspired flavor (which might be why I loved it so much ๐Ÿ˜“). It feels like a refreshing fried chicken. The chicken skin is dry, fragrant, and crispy, while the meat is juicy and full of flavor. The sauce is savory and rich, and with two large pieces of chicken, youโ€™ll definitely feel satisfied. ๐Ÿ— ๐Ÿฎ Desserts ๐Ÿฎ Chocolate Lava Cake ๐ŸŒŸThe cake itself is excellent, not too sweet. Although I felt that eating hot lava cake in the summer was a bit heavy, itโ€™s still a delicious dessert when you think about it. The accompanying salted caramel ice cream is quite sweet. ๐Ÿฎ Roasted Peaches Despite being labeled as "roasted," the peaches are served cold. Theyโ€™re not very sweet, reminiscent of canned yellow peaches, and paired with raspberries, they offer a refreshing, sweet-and-sour flavor. ๐Ÿ‘ ๐ŸŒŸ Overall, all the dishes are exceptional. The sauces are light and refreshing, leaving no greasy aftertaste. The appetizers and main courses are well-matched, and the desserts are just the right level of sweetness for Asian palates (especially if you skip the ice cream). This is a very sincere Restaurant Week offering. ๐ŸŒŸ #NewYork #NYCRestaurantWeek #Michelin ๐ŸŒ†
