New York Dining Adventure: Xi'an Famous Foods ๐
๐While taking the ferry to the Statue of Liberty, we decided to grab a bite during our city walk. We stumbled upon Xi'an Famous Foods in a small alley. When we arrived before noon, there were hardly any customers, but as soon as it hit 12 PM, a crowd poured in. ๐ฐ๏ธ ๐ข No need to add a tip, but there's no complimentary waterโ you'll need to purchase bottled water from the store. A bowl of noodles costs around $15, and the portion size is quite generous. ๐ธThe noodles are thick and chewy, so even though it doesn't look like a lot, you'll get full quickly. The flavors are authentic! Two of us had two bowls of noodles for under $30. ๐ This was truly the first meal in New York that made me realize how expensive things can be, but it felt like a taste of home, reminiscent of a Lanzhou noodle shop in China. ๐ The only minor issue was that when we arrived, the entrance was filled with the smell of marijuana. ๐ฟ #NewYork #NYCDining #AuthenticFlavors ๐
