New York Dining Adventure at Portale π
When it comes to pasta choices at Portale, I had a bit of trouble deciding, so I went with the recommendations: Risotto: This unassuming green risotto ended up being the No.1 favorite of the group. The rich shrimp flavor and its porridge-like texture were a perfect match. π¦ β½οΈ Lumache: The catβs ear pasta was a bit firm, but its unique shape perfectly held the white sauce and minced meat together. The black truffle aroma was incredibly intense. π β½οΈ Mafaldine: The Daily Special Lobster Pasta took a more delicate approach compared to the rich sauce of Neraiβs signature lobster pasta. Even friends who arenβt big on seafood loved it. The tender shrimp meat was so fresh it almost pulled apart, and the ribbon pasta made it more flavorful and layered. π¦ Main Courses π½οΈ β½οΈ Duck Breast: The crispy duck skin and juicy meat were complemented by a slightly sweet fig sauce that cut through the richness. π¦ β½οΈ Roasted Halibut: The delicate fish was infused with the aroma of morel mushrooms and garlic. The fava bean and potato puree added a satisfying fullness. π I also ordered the Roasted Crushed Potatoes on the side, and they were incredibly crispy and bursting with flavor. π₯ The overall ambiance was quite elegant. Portale truly knows how to make great pasta, and the artistic plating was a feast for the eyes. We were a group of six, and the beautiful marble-patterned white table was all ours. It was a stunning restaurant that looked great in every photo. π π Portale #NewYorkTravel #NewYorkDining ποΈπ
