New York Downtown's Best Restaurant 🌟

🏙️If you search for Cervo’s on Yelp, its tag is simply “seafood,” but it’s so much more than that! It’s everything! It’s been on my foodie list for a while, and in 2019, by a stroke of luck, I found out that the parents of my son’s best friend from pre-K were the owners of Cervo’s. They also own two other Italian restaurants in New York. This is a hard-to-book restaurant, typical of many in New York—it’s small and easy to overlook from the outside. But as soon as you walk in, the aroma hits you, and the moment you sit down, you feel like you’re in Spain! 🏙️The open kitchen gives you a clear view of the chefs in action, and at 9:30 PM, it feels like it’s still 5 PM! 🌆 When people think of seafood restaurants, they often think of lobster, oysters, crabs, etc. But “seafood restaurant” can mean so many different things, with so many styles. My favorite kind of seafood restaurant is one that uses the simplest, yet top-tier ingredients—seemingly cheap but full of heart and flavor. 🍃🌸 I never thought that something as simple as shrimp heads could be so delicious and flavorful! The ingredients and proportions in the middle are carefully thought out! I ended up going three times in a row and tried every dish on the menu. I don’t want to single out any dishes because I love them all!!! 🏙️ If you live downtown and don’t visit, you’re missing out. And if you live uptown, please make the trip downtown—you won’t regret it! This is definitely not an advertisement! 🍃🌸 As you all know, I’m very picky about Western cuisine. 😊 Cervo’s 📍 43 Canal St, New York, NY 10002 #NewYorkLife #NewYorkFoodGuide 🌃🌟
