New York Eataly 🌟
I visited Eataly to grab some desserts. 🍪 📚 The Tiramichoux is purely Tiramisu-flavored, but when you break it down further, the coffee and liquor notes that you’d expect in a classic Tiramisu are barely noticeable. The Pistachio-filled Bignè is similar; it has that mix of sweet and savory flavors, but is it really pistachio? Just barely. The Stuffed Gnocchi I had earlier was like a cloud of savory flavor, and these desserts are like two sweet clouds. But they’re a bit too light; they won’t really satisfy your craving when you’re in the mood for something truly sweet. 🍦 📚 My friend ordered a Blackberry Tart (it was tiny but super cute) and a Chocolate Cake, and she really enjoyed them. We sat by the curb on Fifth Avenue, with the clock on the skyscraper across the street ticking slowly, and people bustling around us. A French Bulldog sat in the passenger seat of a food truck, and workers teased him through the window. Soon, he was let out, rolling on the ground and playing happily. A man in a hurry walked by with a blue, shiny book under his arm, titled “Chinese Buildings.” 📚 🌟 There’s something really special about enjoying desserts with a friend in a street corner in the heart of the world. 🌺 #NewYork #NYCFood 🗽
