Essex Market is full of surprises! On a Friday night, I found a gem of a restaurant, Essex Pearl, in the underground level of the Market. This place specializes in Southeast Asian-style seafood fusion dishes, and everything is delicious. The lobster noodles are out of this world! I immediately made a reservation for a second visit after dining here. 🔥 Lobster Garlic Noodles A live lobster weighing 1.5 pounds, and the waiter warmly invited us to choose our lobster from the tank😆 The large, fresh, and elastic lobster meat is smothered in a garlicky sauce and served with chewy egg noodles, it's truly soul-stirring! Additionally, this dish is quite substantial, enough for two people to share. 🔥 Nasi Goreng Indonesian seafood fried rice, this dish is also filled with sincerity, packed with an abundance of seafood! The fried rice is infused with various spices, making it incredibly fragrant! 🔥 Grilled Prawn & Grilled Lamb Belly Must commend the grilled lamb skewers here! They truly taste like those from barbecue shops back home! I've been craving the barbecue from Zibo, and this really hit the spot～ The grilled prawns are also excellent!
