New York Exhibition Visit | Swiss Institute 🎨✨

🌟The Swiss Institute is a non-profit contemporary art institution focusing primarily on visual and performing arts. Currently, they are hosting several exhibitions: Jac Leirner This is the first major solo exhibition of Brazilian artist Jac Leirner. The artist has created orderly sculptures using everyday items such as pencils, business cards, and banknotes collected from life. πŸ“βœ¨ Lap-See Lam: Tales of the Altersea 🌟 This is a dynamic exhibition by Lap-See Lam, a Chinese-Swedish artist. Set against the backdrop of Chinese restaurants that could no longer operate in Europe, the exhibition uses imaginative techniques and storytelling to depict the diaspora of Chinese culture overseas. 🌌✨ 🌟 Both exhibitions will end this weekend on 8/27, and new exhibitions will start on 9/13. The gallery is not very large, with a total of two floors plus a rooftop. Each space is highly artistic. On the first floor, there is also the Printed Matters bookstore. If you're in the East Village, I highly recommend stopping by. πŸ“ Swiss Institute 38 St Marks Pl.
