New York Exploration | DIY Perfume Experience - A Perfect Match ❤️
When I have free time in New York, I always want to do something interesting. So, I tried being a perfumer, and it was such a fun experience! The final product turned out great, and it’s perfect to do with a good friend or a boyfriend. 🌟 💭 Process: 1. Choose one of the nine base scents + three seasonal options that you like the most. 2. The staff will ask you, “Why do you like this base?” and “What other types do you like?” Then, they will mix the base you chose with ten other scents, dropping one drop of each on scent strips, introducing them one by one, and letting you pick your two favorites. 3. The staff will apply these two mixtures to your hands for you to smell outside, which helps you make a better judgment. You’ll then choose one of the two. 4. Pick the color of the bottle and name your perfume. The name can include numbers but must be no more than 9 letters. 5. The staff will mix and bottle your perfume right in front of you and give you a card that records your chosen mix. 🎉 🐾 My Experience: - It’s best to book in advance! - I chose the Hunter base, which is quite refreshing. - If you can’t name ten types you like, the staff will recommend popular combinations. - Since it was around 520, I named mine “sherry520” (my English name + 520). You can see my combination in the last photo. - The only downside was that I thought I could mix and bottle the final perfume myself. The final scent turned out amazing! My friends all said it smelled great, and even I, who usually don’t wear perfume, started getting into the habit of spraying it before going out because it’s completely tailored to my preferences. 🌸 💰: Including tax, it was $93. The staff told us not to tip because it wouldn’t be distributed to them. 💸 📍 Olfactory NYC #NewYork #NYCExploration #NYCPerfume #PerfumeShop #Perfume #PerfumeReview #DIYPerfume #Perfumer #CustomPerfume #DIY #Custom #Shop #ShopVisit #NYCLife #DateSpot #Weekend #WeekendPlans #NYCWeekend #NYCWeekendPlans
