π Homemade Soybean Curd Stew I had never seen Korean-style soybean curd stew in a Korean restaurant before. It looks quite plain on the menu, but its taste is surprisingly good. The ingredients are very simple: soybean curd β pork belly. The dish has a soybean fragrance with a hint of saltiness, somewhat like drinking savory porridge. This restaurant also offers fish roe soybean curd, kimchi soybean curd, and a large portion of soybean curd hot pot. ButβΌοΈ my dining companion didn't like the soybean curd stew, saying the soybean curd felt a bit scratchy in the throat. If you're trying it for the first time, I suggest ordering a small portion. π² π Korean Fried Chicken Boneless Korean fried chicken with crispy skin, served with sweet and spicy sauce. It's pretty standard. π π Dessert The two desserts are both quite sweet. I recommend the tofu ice cream, which contains black sesame β tofu chips. The tofu flavor in the ice cream is not very strong; it mainly tastes like vanilla. The red bean tiramisu is way too sweet and cloying. I don't recommend it β. π¨ π° Including tips, the average cost per person is around π²40, which is a decent value for money in New York. #NewYorkFood #NewYorkKoreanCuisine #NewYorkExploration π½v
