New York Exploration | Surprising Librae Bakery 🌟
Every time I pass by Astor Place and have a little spare time, I always stop by Librae Bakery for a coffee and a pastry. Not only are they visually appealing, but they also taste amazing! 🎢 The bakery specializes in Middle Eastern bread and pastries with a Danish twist. It’s a top-notch bakery, but even if you just treat it as a café, it stands shoulder to shoulder with many of New York’s finest coffee spots. So, I always like to try different items and am often pleasantly surprised. 🌸Recommended Pastries: Feta Scone: Compared to traditional American scones, this one has more of a bread-like texture. Highly recommended! 🥪 🌊 Rose Pistachio Croissant: Delicious but quite rich. If you’re not into overly sweet or creamy pastries, you might want to skip this one. 🍖 Egg & Cheese Foccacia: I had it fresh out of the oven, and it was absolutely divine! 🍖 🍃Basque Cheesecake: For all the cheesecake lovers out there, this one is a must-try! 🍪 The coffee is generally great, and I particularly enjoy their cappuccino and cortado.
