New York Food | Mission Ceviche 🌟
The main course, the braised beef SECO NORTEÑO, was a whole piece of beef 🥩. 🥬It was said to have been braised for 12 hours, and it was indeed very tender. However, the beef was a bit lean. It was served with a circle of creamy mashed potatoes, which went well with the meat. I thought it was okay, just normal flavor, but my dining companions really liked it. 🍖 🥬 For sides, we ordered crispy Brussels sprouts 🥬, which were delicious. Fried food is rarely bad, and theirs were perfectly crispy. We also had two Peruvian specialties 🇵🇪 cocktails: pisco sour and pineapple sour. They were both tangy and sweet, with a light alcohol taste, which suited me just fine. 🍹 Overall, I thought the flavors were good, although the meal felt a bit salty by the end. The menu isn't very extensive, but I pretty much ordered everything I wanted, and none of it was bad. 🥬 Next time, I'd like to try Piopio8, which seems to offer a different style of more down-to-earth Peruvian dishes. 🌿 #food #NewYorkCuisine 🍔
