New York Food | The Best Hot Dog in the City of Hot Dogs (1)🌭
When it comes to famous New York foods, hot dogs have to be on the list; and when it comes to famous hot dogs, Nathan’s has to be mentioned 🌟. 🍃🌺The green food trucks on the streets all sell Nathan’s, and the prices nowadays are really not cheap. It might cost you a solid $10 just to get full. You might even feel like you can’t afford a hot dog anymore 🤣. This time, I visited a New York veteran. It opened in the Upper West Side in 1973, and this year marks its 50th anniversary. To this day, it still only has this one store 🎉. I ordered their most famous Recession Special, which is two hot dogs with a medium cup of their signature drink, for $6.95 including tax. The hot dogs are grilled right on the spot, and they’re pretty hot when you get them in your hands 🔥. 🍃🌺 You can choose your own toppings. For one, I went with the store’s signature sauerkraut and onions, and for the other, I stuck with the classic ketchup and yellow mustard. These toppings are all free. There are also some extra toppings you can pay for, like chili and cheese. I’m planning to give those a try next time 🌭. #NewYork
