New York Food Adventure | Tibetan Cuisine in New York 🌟
I can't believe I found Tibetan food in New York! 😍 New York is truly a melting pot of cultures. I stumbled upon this hidden Himalayan Tibetan restaurant, Dawa's, in Queens. After eating there, I felt so refreshed and excited. It was such a novel experience that I have to recommend it! 🌿 They have two types of menus: one for Himalayan Tibetan dishes and another for American-style food (I don't recommend looking at this one). Follow the suggestions below, and you won't be disappointed. 🥘 Butter Tea 🍵 This is a classic Tibetan tea, made from strong tea, butter, and salt. It has a rich flavor and a fragrant aroma that gives you a warm, cozy feeling. Here, they use butter instead of traditional yak butter. Sip it slowly; drinking it too fast can make it feel a bit heavy (trust me, I know from experience 😂). One interesting thing is that they serve the tea in old-fashioned thermos bottles—it feels so nostalgic! 🥹 #NewYork #TibetanFood #CulturalMeltingPot 🌟🌟
