New York Food Diary | Bánh 🌟
A restaurant just a 13-minute walk from Columbia University! The night we went, it was packed! We arrived around 8:30 pm and waited for over half an hour, but it was totally worth the wait! 🕰️ Pho Dac Biet: A classic taste! After standing in the cold wind for 30 minutes, digging into a steaming bowl of pho was incredibly comforting! 🍜 🍜 Xoi Thit Kho: This platter completely blew me away! The pork belly was cooked to perfection—soft and tender! Paired with sticky rice mixed with pork floss and egg yolk, it was pure bliss! This dish totally hit the spot for me! 😋 Hot Chocolate: The hot chocolate was a bit too sweet for my taste. Next time, I’ll go for a lemonade instead! 🍼 🍜Summary: The service and ambiance were both great! We got lucky and sat by the window, where we saw some uniquely decorated candies hanging on the glass. I was curious if they tasted as good as they looked, but I was too shy to ask. 😥 Anyway, I’ll definitely be back for that platter! 📍 942 Amsterdam Ave, New York, NY 10025 #NewYorkFood #ManhattanEats 🍜🌟
